Programmes

The Department of Planning runs bachelor and postgraduate programmes. The bachelor's programmes are as follows:

  1. Four-Year Programme in Development Planning leading to the award of B.Sc. in Development Planning
  2. Four-Year Programme in Human Settlement Planning leading to the award of B.Sc. in Development Planning

 

The postgrauduate programmes comprise master programmes and Ph.D programmes. The master programmes cover programmes that lead to the award of Master of Science degrees and Master of Philosophy degrees. These master programmes are as follows:

  1. Two-Year (Three-Year for part-time students) programme in Development Planning and Management (both weekday and weekend classes) leading to the award of M.Sc. in Development Planning and Management.
  2. Two-Year (Three-Year for part-time students) programme in Development Policy and Planning (both weekday and weekend classes) leading to the award of M.Sc. in Development Policy and Planning.
  3. Two-Year (Three-Year for part-time students) Master of Philosophy programme in Planning leading to the award of M.Phil Planning.
  4. Two-Year (Three-Year for part-time students) Master of Philosophy programme in Planning leading to the award of M.Phil Development Studies.

 

The Ph.D programmes are:

  1. Four-Year (Five-Year for part-time students) Doctor of Philosophy programme in Planning that leads to the award of Ph.D Planning.
  2. Four-Year (Five-Year for part-time students) Doctor of Philosophy programme in Development Studies that leads to the award of Ph.D Development Studies.
